The world's best track and field athletes will compete at the Olympic Games Paris 2024 from 1 to 11 August. We'll have all the latest results, news and reaction as they happen.
The athletics competition will take place at the Stade de France, which was also used for the 1998 FIFA World Cup and 2003 Rugby World Cup. The stadium has a capacity of 80,000 and is sure to be packed out for the athletics events.
The athletics program will feature 48 medal events, with 24 for men and 24 for women. The events will be split across four disciplines: track and field, road running, race walking, and combined events.
