Biles, Lee and other American gymnasts vie for spots on the 2024 Olympic team
The 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for gymnastics will be held from Thursday, June 27 to Sunday, June 30 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The competition will determine the six-woman team that will represent the United States at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.
Day 1: Richard leads men's standings
On the first day of competition, Konnor Richard led the men's standings with a score of 87.200. Brody Malone was second with a score of 86.500.
Day 2: Biles tops all-around on first day
On the second day of competition, Simone Biles topped the all-around standings with a score of 59.550. Suni Lee was second with a score of 57.450.
Day 3: Hurd wins men's all-around title
On the third day of competition, Brody Malone won the men's all-around title with a score of 88.250. Konnor Richard was second with a score of 87.700.
Day 4: Biles leads women's all-around standings
On the fourth and final day of competition, Simone Biles led the women's all-around standings with a score of 113.400. Suni Lee was second with a score of 112.150.
The top two finishers in each event will earn a spot on the 2024 Olympic team. The remaining four spots will be filled by the athletes with the highest combined scores from the all-around and individual event competitions.
