Angling Association Formed to Enhance Fishing in Badenoch
Association's History and Goals
Founded in the mid-1960s, the Badenoch Angling Association (BAA) is a community-based organization dedicated to improving fishing in the Badenoch area of the Scottish Highlands. With a membership of over 900, the BAA is committed to preserving and enhancing the local fishing environment.
Fishing Opportunities
The BAA controls fishing on the River Spey and various lochs within the Badenoch region, including Loch Laggan and Loch Ericht. Association waters offer opportunities for anglers targeting pike, salmon, and trout. The Club also provides two boats available for booking at Spey Dam.
